Engineered an end-to-end meta-genomic analysis pipeline 'Fuvibact' for real-time pathogen identification from Nanopore sequencing data that cut down the TAT by 60%. Streamlined predictive health research by building target-specific in-house databases and implemented scalable software pipelines for custom analysis workflows from scratch. Worked on the design of an AI-powered clinical variant interpretation system based on ACMG guidelines pathogenicity classification. Conducted end-to-end bioinformatics analysis of Illumina and Nanopore NGS data, including amplicon and trio-based sequencing, covering QC, alignment, variant calling, structural variant and CNV analysis, annotation and downstream interpretation, with automated workflows built using Nextflow.

Developer and Data Analyst Intern | Center for Cellular and Molecular Platforms, BLiSC [2022]

Designed a web-based data visualisation tool used to analyse the experimental data derived from a microfluidic cell-sort device. Explored data analysis techniques for fluorescence time-series data from a laser used as part of the device's design. Supported the improvement of the microfluidic analyser with weekly analytics reports on its performance.
